 Public Works Personnel

The mission of the Personnel section of Public Works is to assure the fair and equitable treatment of applicants and employees in all areas of personnel administration.   Our goal is to hire the best qualified applicants, while ensuring equal employment opportunities for all persons who apply to and work for the department.

The Personnel section of Public Works is responsible for the Department’s employee relations, discipline, training and staff development, recruitment and examination for positions unique to Public Works, and the processing of personnel and payroll actions for approximately 303 employees.
