Buena Vista Landfill and Ben Lomond Transfer Station
IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR INCOMING LOADS OF RECYCLING OR REFUSE
Since June 8, 2005, Buena Vista Landfill and Ben Lomond Transfer Station staff have required accurate information on the origin of loads entering any county facility.
Customers will be requred to show identification such as a driver's license, auto registration, utility bill, or property tax bill to verify the address of any incoming loads of recycling or refuse. Failure to provide correct documentation may result in rejection of the load, or assessment of a 28% out-of-district surcharge.
Businesses such as landscaping and dump-run companies that haul from multiple locations must provide all service addresses for all materials in each load.
