  • 38th Avenue Drainage Improvement
    Status: Design

    This project will provide drainage improvements along 38th Avenue at the intersection of Floral Court.
  • Aptos Village Improvements Phase II
    Status: In Design

    Construct road and roadside improvements on Soquel Drive from Trout Gulch Road to Aptos Creek bridge to include: new traffic signal at Soquel Drive/Aptos Creek Road, new railroad crossing over Aptos Creek Road, sidewalk and bike lanes on Soquel Drive, new railroad crossing at new Parade Street.
  • Bean Creek Road PM 1.0 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Out for Bid, Construction Anticipated for Summer

    This project will provide for the repair of a 20-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a concrete crib retaining wall, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • BPMP – Clean and Paint Steel Members
    Status: Environmental

    This is a bridge preventative maintenance project and it will clean and paint steel bridge members of the bridges located on Swanton Road at Scott Creek (36C-032) and on Old Santa Cruz Highway at Woodwardia Sidehill Viaduct (36C-155).
  • BPMP – Scour Protection Project
    Status: Environmental

    This is a bridge preventative maintenance project and it will provide for scour protection measures at two separate bridge sites. Site 1 is located on Spreckles Drive over Aptos Creek (Bridge # 36C-113) and Site 2 is Valencia Road over Valencia Creek (Bridge # 36C-116).
  • BPMP – Spall Repair
    Status: Environmental

    This is a bridge preventative maintenance project and it will repair concrete spalls in the soffit and edge of deck of the bridge located on East Zayante Road at Zayante Creek (36C-142).
  • Buena Vista Road
    Status: Pre-Design

    This project includes roadway rehabilitation from Highway 1 to San Andreas Road and drainage improvements to address flooding issues. This project is funded by the refuse vehicle impact fee.
  • Capitola Road at Arana Gulch Emergency Storm Damage Repair
    Status: Construction

    Emergency project to repair a system of two 84” diameter culverts which carry Arana Creek underneath Capitola Road. The inlet headwall has partially collapsed and the culverts are rusted out along bottom and beginning to form voids on the inlet side. The outlet headwall has completely collapsed and the roadway embankment there has washed out, leaving a large void extending beneath the sidewalk and road. Immediate action is being taken in order to restore the roadway embankment before failure of the sidewalk and roadway occurs.
  • Cox Road PM 1.93 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of a 40-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile retaining wall, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • Either Way Bridge Replacement Project
    Status: Environmental

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 59-foot long Either Way Bridge over the San Lorenzo River north of the Town of Boulder Creek.
  • Eureka Cyn Road PM 0.36 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Opened Bids, Construction Anticipated this Summer

    This project will provide for the repair of a 30-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a steel soldier pile and timber lagging retaining wall requiring earth excavation and backfill, wall gutter and gutter drain system, gabion end closures, installation of Midwest guardrail system with end treatment and transition to adjacent existing metal beam guardrail, asphalt pavement replacement, slurry sealing, thermosplastic traffic striping, asphalt dike, drainage facilities, roadway embankment backfill, erosion control measures and revegetation.
  • Felton Empire Grade PM 2.58 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of a 40-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a steel soldier pile and timber lagging retaining wall, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • Fern Drive Bridge Replacement Project
    Status: Design/Environmental

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 72-foot long Fern Drive Bridge over the San Lorenzo River near Boulder Creek.
  • Forest Hill Drive Bridge Replacement Project
    Status: Design/Environmental

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 70-foot long Forest Hill Drive Bridge over Bear Creek northeast of the Town of Boulder Creek.
  • Glen Arbor Road
    Status: Pre-Design

    This project includes drainage improvements and resurfacing of Glen Arbor Road from the bridge at State Highway 9 to Quail Hollow Road. This project is funded by RSTP grant funds.
  • Glen Haven PM 0.81 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of a 40-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile retaining wall, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • Glenwood Drive PM 0.21 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Completed

    This project will provide for the repair of a 40-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a steel soldier pile and timber lagging retaining wall, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • Green Valley Road Bridge Replacement Project
    Status: Design/Right-of-Way

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 25-foot long Green Valley Road Bridge over the Casserly Creek Tributary near Watsonville.
  • Grove Street and Mountain Street
    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for reconstruction the structural section of storm damaged roadways and installation of drainage features.
  • Highland Way PM 3.19, PM 3.24, PM 3.73, PM 3.91, PM 5.45
    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of multiple road slipouts. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile retaining walls, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
  • Hwy 152/Holohan Road Intersection Improvements
    Status: Design

    Construct school safety improvements for pedestrian and bike access to/from Lakeview Middle School and St. Francis High School to include: new sidewalks and bike lanes on Holohan Road and portions of Hwy 152, new pedestrian crosswalks at all approaches to the new traffic signal, widen Holohan Road to include dual left turn lanes and an exclusive right turn lane, and widen a portion of Hwy 152 to accommodate the dual left turns from Holohan Road.
  • Hwy 17 to Soquel Cooridor
    Status: Pre-Design

    This project will include resurfacing portions of Branciforte Drive, Vine Hill Road, West Vine Hill Road, Mountain View Road, North Rodeo Gulch Road, Laurel Glen Road, and Soquel San Jose Road between Highway 17 and Soquel. This project is grant funded (partially funded, seeking additional funds).
  • La Madrona/El Rancho/Swanton Guardrail Replacement Project

  • Lompico Road Bridge Replacement Project

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 21-foot Lompico Road Bridge over Lompico Creek north of the Town of Felton.
  • Lompico Road PM 0.22 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of a 100-lineal-foot road slipout. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile retaining wall, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.

  • Pinehurst and Greenbrier Improvements
    Status: Pending with PVUSD Involvement

    This project is located in Aptos and will provide a new ADA ramp, curb, gutter and sidewalk. It will also restripe the crosswalk and fix the curb and gutter damaged by tree roots.
  • Quail Hollow Road Bridge Replacement Project
    Status: Utilities

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 84-foot long Quail Hollow Road Bridge over Zayante Creek, northeast of the Town of Felton.
  • Rancho Rio Avenue Bridge Replacement Project
    Status: Design/Environmental

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 38-foot long Rancho Rio Avenue Bridge over Newell Creek in the Town of Ben Lomond.
  • Redwood Lodge Road PM 2.02 Storm Damage Repair Project

    This project will provide for reconstruction of storm damaged roadway and installation of drainage features.

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 28-foot long Redwood Road Bridge over the Brown’s Creek Tributary northeast of the Town of Corralitos.
  • San Lorenzo Way Bridge Replacement Project

    This project will provide for the replacement of the 157-foot long San Lorenzo Way Bridge over the San Lorenzo River in the Town of Felton.

    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of road slipouts. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile retaining walls, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.

    This project will include resurfacing portions of Mount Hermon Road, Lockwood Lane, and Graham Hill Road. This project is grant funded (partially funded, seeking additional funds).
  • Seacliff Village Streetscape Improvements
    Status: Final Design

    Construct new sidewalks on State Park Drive, Santa Cruz Avenue, Broadway, and Center Avenue to include: improved pedestrian/bus facilities on State Park Drive, public plaza, ornamental streetlights, streetscape (trees and plants), wider sidewalks on Center Avenue, planted center median on Center Avenue, and improved on street parking facilities with electric vehicle charging stations.
  • Stetson Road PM 1.08 and PM 1.20 Storm Damage Repair Project
    Status: Summer 2019 Construction

    This project will provide for the repair of road slipouts. The project scope includes the construction of a soldier pile retaining walls, installation of guard rail, road drainage facilities, and erosion control measures.
